Good morning family of God!
Let’s begin by looking at Ephesians 6:11 from Amplified Bible. It says,
- Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavily-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able to successfully stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.
See, our armor IS the Word of God. It is our defense and our protection against the strategies of the devil. But, we’ve got to make sure that we abide in that Word and the Word abides in us. Jesus said in John 15:5,7 ~
- I Am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in Him, bears much fruit; without Me, you can do nothing…If you abide in Me and My Words abide in you, you shall ask what you desire and it shall be done for you.
You’ll have no defense against the wiles and strategies of the enemy unless you shine the light of God’s Word on the deceitfulness and trickery of the enemy. Here are some things BEING WORD OF GOD MINDED WILL DO FOR YOU:
- The Word of God will give you explanations on things that you can’t explain.
- Because of the Word of God, you will be able to make sense out of senseless situations.
- Because of the Word of God, you will be able to stand up against whatever this world has to throw against you.
- Through the Word of God, which is your victory, you won’t have to turn and run coward or accept what is coming from the world.
- The Word of God will explain things to you over the years and hold you together.
So, use the Word of God on every area of your life. If you’re praying for your children, confess Isaiah 54:13, which says,
- Great is the peace of my children.
We held on the Word of God when our finances didn’t look too good.
We held on to the Word of God when our friends and family forsook us.
And, here we are, successful against the strategies of the enemy because we knew what to hold on to and we would not let go of the Word of God.
I exhort you today to keep holding on to the Word of God, no matter what anybody tells you.
When it looks bad, look at the Word – stand up and hold on to the Word in your life. Know that you haven’t wasted your time in prayer, in the Word of God, or in your tithing. I encourage you to pursue the Word of God with your whole heart ~ Go after it, claim it, and lay hold of it with your mouth and with your faith.
Let’s learn to refute the lies of the enemy and start commanding God’s will to be done in our lives on earth, just as it is in heaven. Blessed be God forever.
