Good morning dearly beloved! We’re told in Hebrews 12:1-2: ” Since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.”
Disciplining our flesh isn’t easy, but by the power of the Holy Spirit living within us, we can do it! Jesus said that apart from the Father, He couldn’t do anything! Thank God that the Apostle Paul encourages us that we CAN do all things through Christ Who strengthens us!
Let’s put the sins of the past behind us and do what Paul encourages us to do in Philippians 3:13-14: He said, “I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.”
If we have sinned, 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
You are so loved by our Father! He has you inscribed on the palms on His hands.
Blessings to you all,
