Good morning family!

Matthew 7:7-8 says,

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and the door shall be opened to you.

There is AUTHORITY IN GOD’S WORD. And remember, the authority of God’s Word is JESUS. I want to encourage you that there are great possibilities because of THE AUTHORITY OF GOD’S WORD. As you come to understand THE AUTHORITY OF GOD’S WORD, you will find out that God is always exceedingly abundant. I exhort you to be enlarged in God.

God is bottomless and higher than any heights. He is more wonderful than anything you can desire.

Way back in Genesis chapter 1, we see that Adam received AUTHORITY from God. Verses 26 and 28 say,

God said, “Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and LET THEM HAVE COMPLETE AUTHORITY over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and OVER ALL THE EARTH and over everything that creeps upon the earth”. And God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and HAVE DOMINION over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.

Then we can see from Psalm 8:3-9 that the AUTHORITY was in HIS NAME. Well, as you may already know, Adam committed high treason, and gave his AUTHORITY over to satan, who is now the god (little “g”) of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4).

Praise God for Jesus, Who was born into this world without sin. He was the last Adam and passed the test. Because of His sacrifice, we were able to become new creatures in Him. Jesus gained AUTHORITY over satan’s kingdom and is exercising that AUTHORITY through us, His children.

We have been created in His exact image and likeness and have become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says,

For He made Him Who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Praise God we are in right-standing with the Father now through Jesus Christ. We have His Name and His AUTHORITY. The right to use His Name is the right to His complete AUTHORITY.

Glory to God that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). And JESUS is far above all principality and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. And God has put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him that fills all in all (Ephesians 1:21-23).

JESUS is superior to all things and through THE AUTHORITY OF HIS WORD, we are His body here on the earth. So, take AUTHORITY over sickness and disease, lack, and depression, and walk above the circumstances of life through the power of His Name.
