Good morning dear children of God!
Let’s take a quick look at Romans 8:15 ~
- “For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father!”
A few months ago, Mary and I were out in the backyard, looking at the stars, and it was one of the those crisp, clear winter nights where the brilliance of the moon and the stars just takes your breath away. She just stood there and said, “Our daddy made that!”
Some people may think we shouldn’t talk about God in such familiar terms, but did you know it’s scriptural?
In the New Teatament, the greek word for Father is “Abba” ~ It means, “Daddy”. It’s a word that signifies closeness. It speaks of a relationship that’s been developed through time spent together.
Once you fellowship with Him enough to get to know Him, I guarantee you, you’ll want to be close to Him all the time.
Love and blessings,
