Hello beloved!
Matthew 26:28 states:
- For this is My blood of the New Covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
I looked up the word, “remission” and it means, YOUR SINS HAVE BEEN DISMISSED OR RELEASED!
Jesus’ shed blood ratified the covenant you and I have with God. His blood was the ultimate and final sacrifice for our sins. We don’t have to “do” anything to make up for our sins. Praise God, we don’t have to offer up a sacrifice like they did in the Old Testament!
I want you to share in the complete freedom and absolute joy that is yours under this new covenant.
The blood of Jesus didn’t just “cover” our sins ~ it did away with them! In other words, God totally wiped them out.
Colossians 2:14 says,
- The Blood of Jesus rendered invisible the ink of the note that was written against us in sin.
So, the note was not only paid; it doesn’t exist any more! The blood of Jesus destroyed it.
“Father, thank you for the blood of Jesus! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.”
You’ve been set free, hallelujah!
With a joyful heart,
