Hello family of God!

 

Jesus is THE LAMB OF GOD, slain for our deliverance.  We have to begin to develop our faith in the blood of THE LAMB.  His sacrifice gave us the right to eternal life, peace, joy, health, liberty, deliverance, and forgiveness of sin.  Jesus' shed blood also gives us the right to come before God and call Him Father.

I love John 1:29.  It says,

  • As John saw Jesus approaching him one day, he declared, "BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD, which takes away the sin of the world."

The blood of Jesus is the only solution for sin, however, it is not an excuse to willfully sin, because Romans 6:23 says,

  • For the wages of sin is death...

When we sin, we reap the consequences of it.  We must continue to resist sin. Hebrews 12:3-4 says,

  • For consider Him Who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.

We can confess our sins and forsake them.  When we do, God forgives us because of Jesus' sacrifice.  Colossians 1:14 declares,

  • ...In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

His shed blood cleans our slate with God.  However, we must study and obey His Word to remain free of bondage so we can enjoy the life He died to give us.

Contrary to popular belief, ONLY JESUS has been ordained by God to take away our sins.  Isaiah 45:22 says,

  • "Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other."

Then, Acts 4:12 says,

  • Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

There is no replacement for Jesus!  There is NO other way we can be saved, except through HIM!  Not only did He die so that we can be forgiven of our sins, He also died to free us from the bondages we face in our lives today.

I want to exhort you today with this:  In every situation, it is vital that we continue to BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD.
