BELIEVING IN HIM
March 29, 2026
Hello believing one!
John 14:12 says,
BELIEVE IN HIM! What a word! God's Word changes us as we enter into fellowship and communion with Him.
Jesus drew the hearts of the people to Himself ~ they came to Him with all their needs and He relieved them all.
Luke 4:18-19 says,
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to:
Jesus healed the sick, relieved the oppressed, and cast out demons. Then He turns right around and says in John 14:12,
"He who BELIEVES IN ME, the works that I do he will do also, and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father”.
Did you hear that family? We have become supernatural by the power of God. If you BELIEVE IN HIM, the power of the enemy cannot stand because God's Word is against Him!
According to Mark 11:22-24, if you have FAITH IN GOD, whatever you desire, if you can believe in your heart, receive it, and dare to speak it, you will have it, if you do not doubt.
So, what does BELIEVING IN HIM mean? It means that we walk by faith and NOT by sight. An example of this can be found in Romans 4:19-21,
So, BELIEVING means that we do not consider the circumstances. It means that we do not waver at the promises of God. It means we become strong in our faith in Him (BELIEVING IN HIM), give Him glory, and are fully convinced that what God has promised us through His Word, He is able to perform.
On the contrary, Thomas only considered what he could see and feel. He said in John 20:25,
Thomas could have chosen to believe. So, Jesus goes on to say in verse 27,
Hebrews 12:2 admonishes us to look unto Jesus and to consider Him, notour weaknesses. Consider all He did for you, all He is doing for you, and all He will continue to do for you!
Be encouraged, because one of my Bible teachers taught me that you can believe in your heart, but have doubt in your head. If this is the case, I want to let you know that there is nothing wrong with your faith!
Remember this: heart faith grows out of the Word! So, put the Word first place and make it your final authority to settle all your questions and concerns. He will not fail you! He is watching over His Word to perform it in your lives (Jeremiah 1:12).
