Hi family!

 

We hear a lot today in regards to detoxing our physical bodies because of the chemicals in the food we eat; how bacteria can build up; even how there are pesticides in the air.

Well, in the same way, there are all kinds of toxins that can build up in our MINDS ~ This happens when we dwell on the wrong thoughts, like what we cannot do or how somebody hurt us.

These toxic thoughts left alone will become like toxic waste, and will eventually contaminate our whole lives.  It effects our whole image - Our attitude and our level of confidence.  It becomes a part of who we are.

Proverbs 4:23 says,

  • Above all else, guard your heard (mind), for it effects everything you do.

So, how do we DETOX OUR MINDS?  By making the decision that we are going to meditate on the WORD OF GOD and REPLACE those toxic thoughts with GOD'S THOUGHTS ~ This is the only way we will be able to DETOX OUR MINDS from all the wrong thoughts that are in there. By doing this, we are not only agreeing with the Scriptures from Romans 12:1-2, but it is the only way we are going to get free and get back to who God made us to be.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (AMP) says,

  • For MY THOUGHTS are not your THOUGHTS, neither are your ways, My ways, says the Lord.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and MY THOUGHTS than your THOUGHTS.

So, instead of dwelling on the negative, toxic thoughts, turn it around and say, "No, I'm not going there ~ I'm going to dwell on what GOD and HIS WORD says about me.

It is so important to realize that it does not matter what your minds, emotions, or what people say about you ~ All that matters is what GOD says about you! So, start feeding your mind with GOD'S WORD.

What will this do?  It will starve those toxic thoughts and begin to let the seed of GOD'S WORD take root in your hearts.

Remember, Hebrews 4:12 says,

  • GOD'S WORD is alive and full of power.

If we will get our thinking in line with GOD'S THINKING, there is nothing we will not be able to do for Him.

The choice is not up to GOD, it is up to YOU!  Deuteronomy 30:19 (NLT) says,

  • Today, I have given YOU the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses.  Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice YOU make.  Oh, that YOU would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!

So, we need to ask ourselves, "Who are we going to get in agreement with?"  What GOD says about us or what our own minds, or emotions, or influences, our own thoughts, or what other people say about us?

Amos 3:3 says,

  • How can two walk together unless they be agreed?

I exhort you to DETOX YOUR MINDS today by getting in agreement with what GOD'S WORD says about you.  I guarantee you that your life will go to a whole new level in God.
