Hello family!

 

Hebrews 11:6 says,

  • ...GOD IS A REWARDER of those who diligently seek Him.

Notice who God rewards? Not people who half-heartedly seek Him; people who only think about Him when they are having a problem; people who only go to church when something special is going on ~ No, GOD REWARDS those who diligently seek Him. People like you that get up every morning and thank Him for His goodness. People who go through the day, meditating on His promises.  People who give Him praise in good times and in tough times.  People who are always growing, learning, and striving to do better.  When you diligently seek God, He promises a REWARD is coming!

God will give His strength, His wisdom, His favor, His healing, and His restoration. You will not be able to outrun the good things of God when you seek Him with your whole heart.  As a matter of fact, Deuteronomy 28:1-2says,

  • Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you on high above all nations of the earth.  And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God...

See, the REWARD is not in figuring it all out; the REWARD is in seeking Him. He gives us the REWARD just for making an effort.

I love the Scriptures that talk about GOD AS A REWARDER, because that shows you something about His character, His divine nature, and His personality. He is not a tyrant judge, sitting on a throne, ready to condemn you. No, HE IS A REWARDER.  

Jeremiah 29:13-14 (GWT) says,

  • When you look for Me, you will find Me.  When you wholeheartedly seek Me, I will let you find Me, declares the Lord.

I encourage you today to seek the Lord while me may be found and He will REWARD you openly.
