Hello precious ones!
Jeremiah 15:16 says,
Because we are to walk by FAITH and not by sight, MY JOY is notcircumstantial. Happiness is based on circumstances, whereas JOY is a spiritual force. It comes from the Holy Spirit living in us and is an essential part of living a life of victory.
JOY is what gives us strength. Nehemiah 8:10 says,
JOY gives you the ability to laugh in the devil's face when he starts trying to knock you off your faith. JOY gives you the kind of staying power that will make you an overcomer in life.
I make it a point to REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS, not because of the circumstance, but in spite of it.
Psalm 119:97, 103 says,
God's Word is alive and full of power, according to Hebrews 4:12. It says,
Some may think, "You mean, like, the Bible?" Exactly! He and His Wordare one (John 1:1).
John 6:63 says,
Things of the Spirit are more real than things on this earth. As a matter of fact, Hebrews 11:3 says,
The Father is a Spirit and according to Genesis 2:7,
The literal Hebrew says, "Man became a speaking spirit, just like God."
We are so much more than we know. Psalm 8:4-5 says,
Wow, family, did you hear that? We have been made a little lower than GOD!!!
Did you know that Psalm 139:17-18 says,
You are on God's mind every moment of every day!
I pray that God is on our minds, every moment of every day, too!
The way you do this is by meditating on God's Word, day and night, like we are instructed to do from Joshua 1:8,
God's Word is life to me!
Rejoicing in His Word,
Lisa Gordon
