RIGHTEOUSNESS
February 25, 2026
Hello righteous one!
It is written of our precious Lord Jesus,
God's purpose is for you to have the Holy Spirit indwelling you so that you will love RIGHTEOUSNESS and hate iniquity.
When we begin to understand how this operates in our lives, we open the door for blessings to flow to us in abundance. But this does not happen automatically. Because we are free moral agents and have the right to choose, we must decide whether or not to accept all that God has made available to us. We can either choose to base our lives on a foundation of self-righteousness, or upon God's RIGHTEOUSNESS. When we choose God's RIGHTEOUSNESS, we never have to worry about toiling or sweating for any kind of victory where our relationships, finances, or health are concerned because Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith.
God's RIGHTEOUSNESS must be the foundation of our Christian lives and the starting point from which we base all our decisions.
I pray that you choose to respond in favor to God's RIGHTEOUSNESSinstead of toiling relentlessly and missing the mark by trusting in self-righteousness.
1 Corinthians 1:30-31 says,
When we were born-again, our spirits were made RIGHT. The Holy Spirit that indwells us urges us to live holy lives and to desire what God desires. The thing we need to deal with after we are born-again are our minds and our bodies. That is why we are exhorted in Romans 12:1-2 to,
Romans 5:17 tells us that when we receive the gift of RIGHTEOUSNESS, we will reign in life through the the One, Jesus Christ. Also, 2 Corinthians 5:21 declares,
In closing, before I pray for you, I want you to look at one last Scripture. It is from 1 Corinthians 3:10-11 and it says,
Let us become skilled in the Word of RIGHTEOUSNESS, according to Hebrews 5:13.
Let us say this together:
"Father, I am so thankful to be called the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God. I praise You that Jesus paid the price so that I could be perfected and made whole in You. Today, I choose to constantly acknowledge that I am the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God. I cast down every thought that tries to set itself against the truth. I embrace Your Word in Romans 10:11 that says, "Anyone who believes in You will never be put to shame. I thank You for this, and give you all the glory and all the praise, in Jesus' Name, Amen."
