- Ephesians 6:14-15 says, “And having shod your feet in PREPARATION [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.”
When it comes to fighting spiritual battles, PREPARATION is a word that we should be very familiar with. Most believers don’t pay much attention to it and are therefore not PREPARED in advance for the enemy’s attacks!
When you wait until the last minute to take your stand, you’re giving satan time to build up his forces against you, and as a result, you’ll lose a lot of battles.
Make up your mind right now to never be caught unprepared again!
- Jude 1:20-21 says, 20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit; 21 Guard and keep yourselves in the love of God; expect and patiently wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)—[which will bring you] unto life eternal.
Don’t let the devil catch you off guard!
Stay prayed up and continually feed on the Word of God! Shod your feet with the PREPARATION of the Gospel of Peace. Then, if satan causes you trouble, you’ll be equipped and PREPARED and will always win the battle.
