Hello beloved, chosen of God,
I would like to share with you two (2) things: What we are to PUT OFF and what we are to PUT ON.
Colossians 3:8-10 says,
- PUT OFF ALL THESE:
- Anger (wrath)
- Fierceness
- Wickedness
- Slanderous speech
- Low and obscene speech (swearing, cursing, cussing)
- Lying to one another
Completely strip off from yourselves (like clothing) the old man with his practices.
- PUT ON ALL THESE:
- The new man ( who is renewed with knowledge and in accord with the image of the One Who created him)
- The depth of pity
- Kindness
- Humility
- Meekness
- Patience
- Dealing graciously
ABOVE ALL THESE THINGS,
- PUT ON LOVE
This is what binds us together in perfection. And let the peace of God arbitrate and umpire in your hearts, being thankful! For you are called in one body.
I praise God for His Word, which is the anchor of my soul.
