Hello committed one!
John 15:5-6 (The Amplified Bible) says,
5 I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.
6 If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers…
I want to encourage you that if you stay in constant contact with God and remain vitally united to Him, ALL the power of Heaven is at your disposal.
According to Jesus, that type of tremendous power is at the disposal of every believer if we will make our union with God the most important thing in our lives.
I exhort you to get the Word of God so deeply down into your heart that no one else’s opinions seem important!
Psalm 1:1-3 says,
1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, w hose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
This is what STAYING COMMITTED TO GOD looks like:
~ You’ll be blessed, happy, fortunate, prosperous and enviable
~ You’ll be like a tree, firmly planted by the streams of water
~ You’ll be ready to bring forth fruit in its season
~ Your leaf shall not fade or wither
~ Everything you do will prosper and come to maturity.
In summary, when we give God first place in our lives, He gives us first place in His! That’s what He meant in John 14:21 when He said,
21 The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.]
“Father, give us the desire to seek You only all the days of our lives. We don’t want to miss out on one thing You have for us! We trust you with all our hearts that You are not a man that You should lie and that You ALWAYS watch over Your Word to perform it! Thank you, Father, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
Staying committed to God,
