Psalm 141:3 says,
- Set a guard, O Lord, over my MOUTH;
- Keep watch over the door of my LIPS.”
Do you really believe that you need to WATCH OVER THE WORDS of your lips? Most believers don’t. They will profess they’re trusting God for their health, but then you’ll hear them say, “I think I’m getting the flu!”
Did you know that according to the Word of God, our words have a tremendous impact on our lives?
Confessing Jesus Christ as The Lord of your life changed your eternal destiny!
I realize that speaking faith-filled words is sometimes hard to do, so it’s something we have to watch all the time! That’s why when I wake up every morning, I pray and confess this over my life.
I want to encourage you to stay strong where speaking and praying the word of God over your lives and the lives of your family is concerned. Speaking words of faith is like paddling upstream!
You can do it, in the Name of Jesus, but it takes a great deal of work.
So if the words that are coming out of your mouth aren’t faith filled words that line up with the Word of God, don’t say them!
I exhort you to speak only faith filled words (words that encourage, edify and exhort so that they minister grace to the hearers) and you will continue to walk in the perfect will of God for your life!
