Good morning dear ones!

We should never underestimate the power of PRAISE.  It’s one of the most powerful spiritual weapons we have.

Psalm 9:1-3 says,

  • I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.  I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.  When my enemies turn back, they shall fall and perish at Your presence.

PRAISE is more than singing a beautiful song to The Lord.  It releases the very presence of God Himself, and when God comes on the scene, sickness, disease and depression has to flee.  Even physical weariness has to flee in the presence of joy-filled PRAISE.

The Scripture declares in Psalm 8:2 that praise actually BINDS the enemy and the avenger.

King David was a man after God’s own heart and he knew how to PRAISE God!  If you are having a little trouble knowing what to say in praising God, you can speak psalms and sing the praises of David to magnify God.

Put His Words continually on your lips.  You will soon begin to experience the thrill and the joy of realizing that God is so “rich in mercy” because of His great love towards us.  Great things will happen when you continue to bless the Lord through praise.  Faith will rise up on the inside of you and the reality that God loves you begins to sing through your spirit.  What’s more, it brings honor to your Father when you believe His Word and magnify His love and mercy.  It blesses Him when you PRAISE Him as the great God Who created the universe and Who is eager to bless you.

So, I encourage you to do what Psalm 33:1 says,

  • Rejoice in the Lord, O you [uncompromisingly] righteous, [you upright, in right standing with God]; for PRAISE is becoming and appropriate for those who are upright in heart.

Lifting up holy hands in PRAISE,

Lisa Gordon
