Good morning victorious ones!

We all face temptations, tests, trial, pressures, and challenges.  Jesus said in John 16:33,

  • In the world, you WILL have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.

One translation says, “I have deprived it of its power to harm you.”

So, we can either get negative, discouraged, and talk about what’s NOT going to come to pass, OR WE CAN SWITCH OVER INTO PRAISE AND:

  • * Thank God that He’s still on the throne (Hebrews 1:8 and Psalm 45:6);
  • * Thank God that He’s still fighting our battles (2 Chronicles 20:17); and
  • * Thank Him that He always causes us to triumph (2 Corinthians 2:14).

A lot of times, we think,

  • * I’ll have a good attitude as soon as money starts flowing into our hands;
  • * I’ll cheer up as soon as I start feeling better;
  • * I’ll give God praise when I get through these tough times.

But, that’s not how faith works!  You’ve got to give God praise first and then the breakthrough will come and things will change in your favor.

Remember this dear one:  PRAISE ALWAYS PRECEDS THE VICTORY!

But, as long as we’re negative, discouraged and focused on our problems, that will limit what God can do!  And, although God is concerned with what we’re going through, God is not moved by our problems – He’s moved by our faith!  And PRAISE if faith at work!

The Scripture says in 2 Corinthians 4:13,

  • The spirit of faith is in our words.

So, my question to you today is:  “What’s coming out of your mouth?”  Are you talking about how BIG your problems are, or are you talking about how BIG your God is?

I exhort you to SWITCH OVER INTO PRAISE.

  • Thank God that He’s fighting your battles (2 Chronicles 20:17; Exodus 14:14)
  • Thank Him that He’s bigger than your problems for (Ephesians 3:20)
  • Thank Him that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17)

YOU CAN PRAISE YOUR WAY TO VICTORY!

Nothing get’s God’s attention any more than when, in the natural, you should be discouraged; you should be complaining, negative, and bitter, but INSTEAD, you offer up a song of praise, thanking God for what’s right, and not focused on what’s wrong.

You may not see anything happening, but behind the scenes, God’s getting it all lined up, and at the appointed time, things will change in your favor.

I want to encourage you that WHEN YOU PRAISE:

  • Chains are broken
  • New doors will open
  • The Angels go to work
  • Victory is coming your way

Psalm 149:6 talks about when we have the HIGH PRAISES OF GOD COMING OUT OF OUR MOUTHS, God will go to war against our enemies.  So, PRAISE HIM with enthusiasm; be excited about what He has done. Always be talking about His goodness.  Constantly tell your family how God has blessed you.  Sing songs of praise in your car, in the shower, when your cooking dinner or cleaning up the house.

When you turn up the praise, you’ll be one step closer to seeing God’s promises come to pass.  Begin to thank God for Who He is, and for what He has done!  Praise Him for His greatness.

God said in Luke 19:40

  • “If you don’t PRAISE ME, the rocks will cry out…”

So, let’s decide today to PRAISE OUR WAY TO VICTORY!

Praising God with all my heart today,

Lisa Gordon
