Good morning glorious ones!

A STRONG FOUNDATION is the basis for everything, and our spiritual lives are no different.  As Christians, the first foundation we must understand is the foundation of righteousness.  When we begin to understand how this operates in our lives, blessings will come our way.  But this does’t just happen automatically ~ we must decide for ourselves whether or not to accept all that God has made available to us.  Deuteronomy 30:19 says,

  • Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses.  Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make.  Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!

The choice is up to us, family.  Jesus Christ is our STRONG FOUNDATION, and the One Who gives us all good gifts.  James 1:17 declares,

  • Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

When we are joined with the Lord, we have His wisdom.  Colossians 2:3 (NLT) says,

  • In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

If we are IN HIM, then His wisdom is in us!  We also have His righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, according to 1 Corinthians 1:30-31.  This is for the glory of God!  It’s not a result of our intelligence or our own righteousness, but because we are IN HIM!

It’s so important in this day and age that we don’t let religion or the world’s philosophies destroy our foundation of RIGHTOUSNESS, because if we do, our whole house will collapse.  Colossians 2:8 (AMPC) says,

  • See to it that no one carries you off as spoil or makes you yourselves captive by his so-called philosophy and intellectualism and vain deceit (idle fancies and plain nonsense), following human tradition (men’s ideas of the material rather than the spiritual world), just crude notions following the rudimentary and elemental teachings of the universe and disregarding [the teachings of] Christ (the Messiah).

Family, there is no other FOUNDATION that we should be building our lives upon other than the Lord Jesus Christ (see 1 Corinthians 3:10-11).  When we build our lives on this FOUNDATION, which is A STRONG FOUNDATION, we’ll be secure and unshakeable when life’s challenges show up.  JESUS is the rock under our feet!

Standing on A STRONG FOUNDATION,
