Hello family!

Did you know that any doubt or unbelief is easily detected in our speech?   The words we say indicate whether we’re believing the Word of God or not.  If we want to grow our faith and starve our doubt, we must begin to CONFESS the Word of God.  Our CONFESSION not only increases our faith, but it may also help boost someone’s else’s faith.

CONFESSION is stating something we believe in our hearts.  It’s testifying to the truth we have accepted.  Our CONFESSION not only increases our faith, it gives evidence to something we know is true.  If our CONFESSION is wrong, then our believing is wrong.  If our believing is wrong, our thinking is wrong.  If our thinking is wrong, it’s because we’ve failed to renew our minds to the Word of God.   To renew our minds means to exchange our thoughts for God’s thoughts.  Reading, studying, meditating and knowing the Word changes the way we think.

Hebrews 4:14 declares,

  • Having then a great high priest, Who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our CONFESSION.

Here is a list of 5 things we should CONFESS:

  1. CONFESS the Word concerning what God has done for us in the plan of redemption (things like, we’ve been redeemed from poverty, sickness, sin, spiritual death, etc.)
  2. CONFESS what God has done in us through His Word and His Spirit.
  3. CONFESS who we are to the Father through Christ Jesus (we’re sanctified, made righteous through Christ Jesus, and redeemed).
  4. CONFESS what Jesus is accomplishing for us right now at the right hand of the Father.
  5. CONFESS what God can accomplish through us (we can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us).

Our CONFESSION OF OUR FAITH can cause others to give their lives to the Lord.  No one can argue with your personal testimony.  When we give someone a testimony of what God has done for us, that person may become interested in the gospel.  Plus, Jesus has given us the great commission, to go and preach the gospel of salvation to the lost.

Remember this dear one, Jesus is the high priest of this great CONFESSION.
