Good morning precious one!

When I was praying for you this morning, I found myself crying out to God for an outpouring of His Spirit that would bring such revival on this land, that billions would be swept into the kingdom.  I was then reminded of James 5:16-18,

  • The effective [earnest, heartfelt, continued] prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.  Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain; and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months.  And he prayed again, and the sky poured rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

RAIN always brings the satisfaction of quenching the thrist of plants and animals.  It’s necessary for life to exist on the earth.  When the RAIN comes to a desert, it gives life in that desert; it provides life-giving water in a dry and barren land…

We know the importance of the natural RAIN.  So what about God’s spiritual RAIN?  Well, the RAINS of heaven promise to quench our thirst if we drink them in.  When we drink from the RAIN of heaven, we quench our thirst for that missing spiritual water.

When the RAIN of Heaven is poured out, it softens the soil of our hearts, so that they are moldable to have the ability to plant seeds of eternal life into our lives.

The RAIN helps prepare the soil, but it’s also instrumental in getting SEEDS to bud and to break open with new life.

Let’s ask the Lord to pour out His Spirit in our lives; to send His cleansing RAIN, His refreshing RAIN, His life-giving RAIN into our lives and the lives around us.  We need the RAIN!  We need an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

It’s time for the FLOODGATES OF HEAVEN TO OPEN in our lives.  Let’s cry out to the Lord and say, “LET IT RAIN!

Praying for the RAIN,
