Happy Easter Everyone!
I want to encourage you that when you gave your life to Jesus, God put a power in you greater than any power that you’ll ever face. Romans 8:11 says,
- “The same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead lives on the inside so you.”
All of us believe that Jesus has incredible power, but God turned it around and said, “I’m putting that SAME POWER INSIDE YOU!” It’s a power so strong that death couldn’t keep Jesus in the grave. A power so strong that ALL THE FORCES OF DARKNESS couldn’t stop it. Here’s the key: The ONLY WAY to activate this power is to BELIEVE!
I exhort you to have a new perspective ~ You are NOT WEAK ~ YOU ARE FULL OF RESURRECTION POWER! 2 Corinthians 2:14 declares that God ALWAYS causes us to triumph in Christ. We’ve got to stand our ground and fight the good fight of faith, according to 1 Timothy 6:12. The keys to death and hell have already been taken away.
Jesus said in John 14:30,
- “The prince of this world comes (talking about satan) and he has NO POWER over Me.”
YOU can say the same thing: “The enemy has no power over me.” “I AM FULL OF RESURRECTION POWER!”
It doesn’t matter whether you feel powerful or strong ~ We walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). You can’t go by what you FEEL ~ You’ve got to go by what you KNOW! Your feelings may change every other hour. So, ACT like you’re powerful – ACT like you’re strong! ACT like you’re well-able! ACT like you’re more than a conqueror, because the BIBLE says you are!
Family, God’s got your back. The Creator of the Universe has got you covered! No matter comes against you, keep the right perspective ~ Greater is He that’s in you than he that’s in the world (1 John 4:4)
So, don’t be afraid of the enemy ~ He’s scared to death of YOU!
When you know who you are and Whose you are, and when you realize you’re full of RESURRECTION POWER, you won’t live intimidated and at a disadvantage. No, you’ll pull your shoulders back, knowing that the SAME POWER THAT RAISED CHRIST FROM THE DEAD LIVES ON THE INSIDE OF YOU!
If death couldn’t keep Jesus in the grave, then sickness, addiction, lack or failure cannot defeat you.
Say this with me: “I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” “I’m glowing with God’s glory.”
Remember, God has put a hedge of protection around you. You have NOTHING to worry about! Nobody can put a curse on you! 1 Peter 2:24 says that Jesus personally took our sins in His Own body on the cross – He paid for every mistake, every wrong. He blood covered it once and for all.
Matthew 27:51 says, “At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook, rocks split apart, and the tombs opened.
Family, the veil is open. Jesus crushed satan’s head and totally defeated him. He paralyzed him and rendered him powerless (Hebrews 2:14). Revelation 1:18 says,
- “I am He that lives – I was dead, but I’m alive forevermore…I have the keys of Death and Hell.”
We don’t have to fear the past, the present or the future. Why? Because you have RESURRECTION POWER! THE SAME POWER THAT UPHOLDS ALL THINGS IS THE SAME POWER THAT THAT RAISED CHRIST FROM THE DEAD AND LIVES ON THE INSIDE OF YOU!
If you’ll rise up and tap into this power, I believe what John 14:19 says: Because He lives, you, too, will live an overcoming, abundant, faith-filled, victorious life, in Jesus’ Name, Amen!
