Hello healthy ones!
I want to encourage you today that because the Word of God is so powerful, it can transform any life. There is so much power in God’s Word (if you will believe it and receive it), He can instantly make what has not yet appeared to appear.
Throughout the gospels, we see so many miracles ~ Healing for the lepers, loaves and fish multiplied, demons cast out, and people raised from the dead! As a matter of fact, the book of John tells us that if every miracle of Jesus was written down, the world itself would not have room for the books that would be written (John 21:25).
Do you think God’s Word has diminished in power? Certainly not! The Word of God can bring things to pass today just like the days of old.
Family, we are told that we are not to live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4).
I want to exhort you today that if we continue in the Word of God, it will wash us and make us clean, pure, and holy (Ephesians 5:26) and as a result, we can live free from sickness, disease, and distress.
I want to encourage you to keep your eyes on God (by keeping them fixed upon His Word) instead of on natural things. If you will do this, how quickly you will be helped.
Salvation and healing is for all who will press right in and get their portion. Remember the case of the Syrophoenician woman who wanted the devil cast of her daughter? Jesus said to her, “Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and cast it to dogs” (Mark 7:27). I want you to see that healing and deliverance are spoken here of by the Master as “the children’s bread”, so if you are a child of God, you can surely press in for your portion.
This woman purposed to get from the Lord what she was after, and she said, “Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs” (Mark 7:28). Jesus was stirred as He saw her faith and told her, “For this saying, go your way; the devil has gone out of your daughter” (Mark 7:29).
Today, there are so many children of God refusing their blood-purchased portion of health in Christ and are throwing it away, while sinners are pressing through and picking it up from under the table, as it were, and are finding the cure not only for their bodies, but for their spirits and souls as well.
The Syrophoenician woman went home and found that the devil had indeed gone out of her daughter.
Today, there is bread, there is life, and there is health for every child of God through His all-powerful Word.
James 5:14-15 says,
- Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the Name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
In this one verse of Scripture, we have a real basis for the truth of healing. God gives us very definite instructions to the sick. If you are sick, your part is to call for the elders of the church;; their part is to pray for you in faith, anoint you with oil in the Name of the Lord, and then you can rest assured that the Lord will raise you up. It is the Word of God!
Let’s decide as followers of the Lord Jesus to follow His instructions. Jesus said in Luke 6:46,
- “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord’, and do not do what I say?”
The Lord will always meet you when you look to His Word and obey the instructions He sets forth for you to follow.
Family, the Word of God will drive out every disease from your body. Even if you are deep in sin, come to Him in repentance and He will forgive you, cleanse you, and heal you! His Words are spirit and life to those who will receive them (John 6:63).
