Good morning beloved!

1 Corinthians 13:8 says,

• Love never fails.

If you want to know what true success in life is, you must be moved and motivated by love! That is how our Lord Jesus was when He was on the earth and He is our example.

You may say, “But, Lisa, that was Jesus. I can’t operate like that!” Sure you can, because the Word of God says in Romans 5:5,

• The love of God has been poured out in YOUR hearts by the Holy Spirit.

Also, 1 John 2:5 states,

• But whoever keeps His Word, truly the LOVE OF GOD is perfected in him.

See, in these last days, we are told in Matthew 24:12 that the love of many will grow cold. So many Christians are abandoning the “love realm” in order to operate in the “sense realm.” Why? Because people are convinced that WALKING IN THE LOVE OF GOD is useless.

It is so important that we understand this: Your relationship with God will determine the effectiveness of your relationship with others. By spending time in the Word of God and fellowshipping with the Lord through prayer and worship, you will be able to WALK IN THE LOVE OF GOD. If you feel you do not have time to do this, your love walk will suffer.

Do you remember what Jesus said was the one distinquishing factor would be for the world to know that we are His disciples? John 13:35 says,

• By this all will know that you are My disciples if you have LOVE for one another.

It is so easy to LOVE GOD, isn’t it? Well, Jesus said something so excellent in Luke 6:32, 35. He said,

• “But if you only love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them…But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.

Also, in Matthew 22:37-40, we read,

• Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

This is how you can perfect your love:

1. Always keep God as the focal point of everything you do.

2. Pray in tongues in order to keep yourself in the love of God (Jude 1:20-21).

3. Practice loving everyone, especially those of your own household.

I want to encourage you with this: WALKING IN THE LOVE OF GOD is not human. This is a supernatural love and is HOLY-SPIRIT injected. Our human love is conditional. God’s love is unconditional. Loving others is proof that you are born-again. So, let us continue to love one another even when it hurts us to do so. This is what our Lord and Savior has commanded us to do.

WALKING IN THE LOVE OF GOD,
