Hello righteous one!

I wanted to take a look at how the world is walking so we can see what we’re not to do!

Ephesians 4:17-19 says,

• I say this then, and attest in the Master, that IN NO WAY should you be walking like the rest of the Nation’s (the Gentiles, the Unbelievers) walk, in the vanity (perverseness, depravity) of their minds, having been darkened in their understanding and comprehension, estranged from the life of God and shut out from fellowship and intimacy with Him because of the ignorance in them, and because of the callousness of their hearts.  Who being past feeling themselves and ceasing to care, give themselves up to wantonness and outrageous shamelessness, with the greedy desire to have more.

Verse 20 exhorts us by saying,

• YET YOU HAVE NOT LEARNED THE ANOINTED THIS WAY, since surely you have heard Him and were taught in Him as the truth is in Jesus.  YOU PUT OFF THE FORMER BEHAVIOR OF THE OLD MAN, previously being corrupted and seduced by its desires, and have been renewed and renovated and reformed (a continual renewal of the new man) by the Holy Spirit that is in your mind.  

Verse 24 is about you:

• And YOU PUT ON THE NEW MAN, created by God in righteousness and the holiness of truth.  Therefore, put off the lie and instead each one speak the truth with his associate (neighbor), for we are members of one another.

PUTTING ON THE NEW MAN is as easy as putting on your coat.  You have been created in God’s image and likeness and are His precious child because you have received all that Jesus did for you.  You welcomed His FREE GIFT of salvation and are a brand new creation (a new species of being they never existed before).
