Good morning extremely blessed one!

Did you know that WISDOM AND PROSPERITY go hand in hand?  First, I’d like to give you a quick recap of King Solomon’s life.

In 1 Kings, chapter 3:3, we see that Solomon loved the Lord.  When the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream, He said to him, “What can I give you?  Ask?”  Verses 9-13 go on say that Solomon asked for an understanding heart so he could lead God’s glorious people and this request pleased the Lord!  So God said to Solomon, “Because you have asked this and have not asked for long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, not have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for understanding, I have done according to your words; I have given you a wise and understanding heart so that there shall not be any one like you.  And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor…”

So when the Queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she brought to him a very great revenue, camels, spices, very much gold, and precious stones.  Solomon answered all her questions and when she had seen all of Solomon’s wisdom, the house he had built, the food on his table, the seating of his servants, the service of his waiters and their apparel, his cupbearers and his entryway, there was no more spirit in her.  She says of Solomon in 1 Kings 10:7,

  • I did not believe the words until I came and saw with my own eyes and the half was not told me.  Your WISDOM AND PROSPERITY exceed the fame of which I heard.

If you have any question in your mind about God’s willingness to prosper, look at Solomon’s life.  Not only did he have such an ABUNDANCE, but all of Judah and Israel lived safe and sound, content with what they had.  There was always plenty.

King Solomon surpassed all the Kings of the earth in riches and wisdom

James 1:5 says,

  • If you lack wisdom, ask of God, Who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it WILL be given him.

Let’s ask God for wisdom, first and foremost.  This way, we will know what  God wants to do in and through us in this earth.

After all, Proverbs 4:7 says,

  • Wisdom is the principle thing, therefore GET WISDOM, and in all thy getting, get understanding.

Asking for His wisdom today,

Your adoring sister in Christ,

Lisa Gordon
