Our Pastors

We're Randy and Lisa Gordon and here's a little about ourselves.  Back in 2011 we founded Jesus City Church (it was actually called Victory Home Church then) in the Hartford, Connecticut area.  It was a home-based church, with a small group of people meeting each week in our living room.  Lisa would serve muffins and drinks,  and I'd lead people in worship on the piano.   We would both teach.  Our idea was to help people learn the Word of God in an intimate, home-based setting.   Over several years we grew our home meetings to four different home-based churches,  rotating and teaching at the various locations.  We also changed our name to Jesus City. 

Then in 2019 we moved to Florida, and during the big world-wide disruption we started regularly live streaming our Jesus City Church meetings, both to stay in touch with our Connecticut congregation, and to grow the church in our new Florida location.  That's when our Jesus City online meetings were born, and we've been meeting this way ever since!

Lisa and I have each been believers for over 50 years,  have been married for almost 40,  educated at Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in our 20's,  and both have our four year university degrees,  me in Accounting and Lisa in Family Studies.  We have four children, and a cat named Bella.
