Good morning blesses ones!

In Matthew 12:35-37 Jesus says,

  • “A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart.  And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for EVERY IDLE WORD you speak.  The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.”

Too many people speak careless (idle) words into the atmosphere and can’t figure out why the life God has promised them isn’t happening the way they hoped it would.  The Word of God tells us in Proverbs 13:3,

  • Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything.

Proverbs 18:21 says much the same thing:

  • The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.

Even though we must give account for EVERY IDLE (non-operative, non-working) WORD we speak, we will also be rewarded to every faith-filled word.

We have been given access to the power of God through our words, which are weapons against the enemy. To be free from bondage, we must think, believe, and speak in line with the Word of God.  As Christians, the Word of God is our standard for living.  How we think is based upon the images and the words we are exposed to.  One of the ways Satan tries to get us to think in opposition to the Word of God is through secular entertainment (movies, tv, music, etc.)

Family, words are the most powerful thing in the universe, but there is a prerequisite for activating the law of confession and that’s believing what we confess.  We must believe the Word of God with our hearts (our spirits).  To believe with our hearts (or spirits) is to take ownership of the Word.  We must be steadfast in the Word, even in the midst of contradicting circumstances.

In the beginning, God spoke faith-filled words and saw them come to pass.  Likewise, we must be imitators of God, as dear children (see Ephesians 5:1, AMP).  This God-kind of faith is the type of faith that moves mountains.  We must believe without doubt, that whatever we say will come to pass (see Mark 11:22-23).

Jesus tells us in Mark 9:23,

  • ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE.

Our words are spiritual containers; they carry either faith or fear.  Creative power is formed in our hearts when we plant His Word within us.  His creative power is released when we speak the Word that has been incubating in our hearts.

Faith-filled words (flowing from our hearts) give us victory!  1 John 5:4 declares,

  • For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

Hallelujah!
